Originally from Pretoria, Barry initially trained in the hospitality industry.

Conrad completed a BCom degree in Tourism Management in 2013 and then completed his guiding apprenticeship qualification.
Matt started his career in the industry in February 2017 and entered the Royal Malewane Apprenticeship Programme in 2019.
Andre has been a part of The Royal Portfolio since 2016 when he was selected for the two-year Royal Malewane Apprenticeship Programme.
Wayne was born in Cape Town and grew up in Johannesburg where he was in close enough proximity to spend time in the bush.
HJ grew up in Hoedspruit on the border of the Greater Kruger Park, and in the neighbourhood of Royal Malewane.
